Premiere Pro Batch Render
Applying the Warp Stabilizer effect to a clip in Adobe Premiere Pro
After tracking down adobe tech support, the issue is the video card. Our mac pro (2012 series) shipped with an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB card which Adobe Premiere does not interact well with when doing color correction. Once rendered, Adobe Premiere Elements doesn’t process the tracks and effects again and can play the preview files directly. Similarly, preview files can save time when you export the movie because Adobe Premiere Elements can use the information stored in the preview files rather than render again. For this testing, we will be using two high-end iMac Pro systems and the old (but still current) Mac Pro alongside a similarly priced PC workstation looking at performance for live playback, render in to out, and export.

For editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, MPEG2 is a wise choice. Brorsoft Video Converter is able to convert MKV, AVI, MTS, MXF, MOV, VOB, H.265, XAVC(S), etc files to Premeire Pro most compatible MPEG2 format for smooth editing.

Because you are continuing with a previous version of this edit, you’ll first save a new version of your sequence. This allows you to go back to the previous version if need be and is a recommended best practice in the video editing workflow.

- In the Project panel, twirl open the Sequences bin.
- Click the Poolside_BTS_01 sequence to select it. Choose Edit > Copy to copy it to your clipboard. Then choose Edit > Paste.
- To modify the name of the sequence, click the name of the sequence to select it.
- Change the name of the sequence to Poolside_BTS_02, press Return (Enter), and then drag it into the Sequences folder.
- Double-click the Poolside_BTS_02 sequence to load it in your Timeline. Note that the sequence appears in a new tabbed Timeline in front of your original sequence.Having multiple Timelines open simultaneously can be useful in certain situations, but it can also be confusing. For the time being, you’ll close the first Timeline to eliminate the possibility of accidentally modifying the wrong sequence.
- In the Timeline, click the Poolside_BTS_01 tab to select it.
- Press Command+W (Ctrl+W) to close this sequence. The new sequence is now the only one visible in the Timeline, which will ensure that you are working on the most recent iteration.
